Ad-hoc Committee on Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities

Group Purpose

Committee will review Libraries Guidelines for Appointment, Reappointment, Tenure and Promotion sections on research, scholarship, and creativity as compared to our peer institutions. The committee is charged with developing a benchmarking study of R1 peer institutions and generating a report with recommendations. Report to be presented at the Fall 2025 Department Faculty Meeting with the final report available to be shared with the Provost by January 2026.

Membership

The committee will consist of five regular Libraries faculty members. The committee will elect its own chair.
